Decide before you open bookings
- Your working hours and how long each session runs
- How much breathing room you need between sessions
- Your fee, and your cancellation and no-show terms
- Whether you offer online sessions, in-person sessions or both
Plan your intake
Write down what you need before a first session: contact details, reason for referral, consent and any baseline questionnaires. Collecting these ahead of time lets the first session start with context.
Plan your follow-up
Decide how often you will repeat outcome measures and how you will record the plan for the next session. A consistent rhythm makes progress easier to see.
